Sligo New Music Festival 2011

This year's Sligo New Music Festival takes place between 15th and 17th April in The Model, Sligo. Ian has been director of the festival since it's inception as the SNMF in 2003 and this will be his 8th and last as director.

Festured artists Oren Ambarchi and Genevieve Lacey are both travelling from their native Australia to perform in Sligo and there is also a concert of Ian's music to celebrate the launch of his latest CD, In shadows, and which will feature the world premiere of his new large-scale collaborative improvisatory work with Cathal Roche and the RTÉ Vanbrugh Quartet, The Book of Ways.
